A while back I made friends with some really cool dutch guys who were on holiday in Cape Town for the Kite surfing season (refer to the postcards from paradise post). We still keep in quite good contact and I surprised one of them with a handwritten birthday card all the way from sunny South Africa. He was ecstatic at finding a handwritten letter in the post and absolutely loved it. I too enjoyed getting back into a bit of drawing and putting pen to paper. There's just nothing better than the real thing, and who wouldn't want mail in our digital generation...

Letters to the Netherlands...
