So as you can see from my
previous post (postcard from paradise…the name just says it all), not a lot of
design work has been going down in the Cape. But based on recent events, it’s
time for me to keep my mind busy and active (no comment on the situation) and
what better way than to immerse myself in none other than the design indaba, it’s
going to be a great pick me up.
Tomorrow evenings line up is the the Southern Guild Heavy Metal opening at the Woodstock Foundry. The opening will
showcase design pieces by a selection of designers in a variety of metals.
Haldane Martin, Brett Murray and Gregor Jenkin are but a few designers whose
work will be exhibited.
Nothing gets me going better than being amongst creatives and designers
...and wearing something other than chilled out beach wear (again refer to the
postcard from paradise post).
